The DivineRPG Dimensional Travel Guide – Mortum

divinerpg-thumb-mortum

DivineRPG is probably the biggest mod for Minecraft around. It adds magic, pets, bosses, over a 100 new mobs and most importantly 8 new dimensions and upgrades to the existing 3. Throughout this Dimensional Travel Guide we’ll take a look at each dimension and what it’s all about, starting with the upgraded vanilla dimensions.

We finish our journey through the Twilight dimensions with Mortum – the deadliest dimension of all…

Before we move onto the meat of this dimension, we have to see how to get there. As is custom in Minecraft, the dimension is accessed through a portal. The portal’s frame is made of Myhtril Block, a block you craft by combining regular stone with Mythril fragments that drop from Mythril ore in Skythern. To light the portal you need a special Twilight Clock, an item crafted by filling the entire 3×3 grid with regular clocks. Just hop in and you’re ready to go!

divinerpg-mortum-augite

Augite is the final Twilight ore and the main ore for Mortum. It’s the end-game, so there’s no pointing recommending on what’s worth crafting. Just craft whatever you have resources for.

divinerpg-mortum-bunny

If it weren’t for its demon eyes and desire to rip off your face, the Angry Bunny might have been cute. Alas, it is evil and deadly, though not quite as deadly as other mobs in Mortum. It attacks at melee range.

divinerpg-mortum-cadillion

The Augite Cadillion is the final form of the Cadillion race. Unlike its brothers, it is aggressive (like everything in Mortum). It is strong, quick and does a lot of damage, making it an all-round dangerous enemy.

divinerpg-mortum-archer

Twilight Archers are hostile mobs that spawn in Mortum. A proud members of the Archer race, these Twilight Archers will attack at a range using their bows. They aren’t as strong or quick as other mobs, but they can deal a ton of damage if you’re not careful.

divinerpg-mortum-basilisk

Basilisks are hostile Mortum mobs. Do not underestimate them because of their size – they can be quite dangerous. They do a small amount of damage, but have a ton health to make up for it, making it tedious and lengthy to fight them.  Be careful or they might swarm you.

divinerpg-mortum-soulstealer

Soul Stealers are hostile mobs that spawn in Mortum. They will attack at melee range and have a considerable amount of health. What makes them deadly is their ability to inflict blindness upon the player when struck, making it extremely difficult to fight them without a powerful ranged weapon.

divinerpg-mortum-demon

Demon of Darkness is one of the weaker hostile mobs in Mortum. It flies and is pretty quick, but doesn’t do a lot of damage and has to attack at melee range. Though it has considerable health, unless you get swarmed, it shouldn’t give you much trouble.

That’s it for the Twilight dimensions folks! But don’t worry, we’ve got more coming your way in the form of our guide to the three special DivineRPG dimensions – Iceika, Dungeon of Arcana and Vethea.
