The DivineRPG Dimensional Travel Guide – The Wildwood

divinerpg-thumb-wildwood

DivineRPG is probably the biggest mod for Minecraft around. It adds magic, pets, bosses, over a 100 new mobs and most importantly 8 new dimensions and upgrades to the existing 3. Throughout this Dimensional Travel Guide we’ll take a look at each dimension and what it’s all about, starting with the upgraded vanilla dimensions.

We continue our journey through the Twilight dimensions with The Wildwood – a very beautiful blue island dimension…

Before we move onto the meat of this dimension, we have to see how to get there. As is custom in Minecraft, the dimension is accessed through a portal. The portal’s frame is made of Dravite Block, a block you craft by combining regular stone with Dravite fragments that drop from Dravite ore in Eden. To light the portal you need a special Twilight Clock, an item crafted by filling the entire 3×3 grid with regular clocks. Just hop in and you’re ready to go!

divinerpg-wildwood-azurite

Azurite is an ore that spawns in The Wildwood. It is the main resource for the dimension and can be crafted into a variety of useful items. When broken, the ore will drops some Azurite fragments which have to be crafted into gems which have to be crafted into chunks in order to craft armor. The armor is recommended since it has infinite durability and decent protection. A full set will give you the ability to heal extremely quickly when submerged under water, making it impossible to drown.

divinerpg-wildwood-moonwolf

Moon Wolves are common passive mobs in The Wildwood. This little guy acts exactly like a regular overworld wolf, but it is significantly more powerful with tons of health.Tame it with a bone like you would normally and it’ll be your useful ally for adventures to come!

divinerpg-wildwood-tomo

The Azurite Tomo is almost exactly like its Dravite counterpart, except it’s blue to blend in more with the blue Wildwood dimension. They are passive and will not attack unless provoked.

divinerpg-wildwood-golem

Azurite Golems are hostile mobs that spawn in the darkness of The Wildwood. Though they are very slow, they deal a ton of melee damage and have a huge amount of health. Your best bet to take one out is by arrow.

divinerpg-wildwood-varek

A Varek is a hostile mob that spawns in the darkness of The Wildwood. It is very fast, quite strong, and deals a lot of melee damage. It is the most dangerous mob in The Wildwood. Be careful when fighting one since it can easily drop you off of an island even if it doesn’t beat you to death.
