The DivineRPG Dimensional Travel Guide - Iceika

DivineRPG is probably the biggest mod for Minecraft around. It adds magic, pets, bosses, over a 100 new mobs and most importantly 8 new dimensions and upgrades to the existing 3. Throughout this Dimensional Travel Guide we'll take a look at each dimension and what it's all about, starting with the upgraded vanilla dimensions.

The mod adds 3 special dimensions. Here we'll take a look at the easiest one - the snowy lands of Iceika…

Before we move onto the meat of this dimension, we have to see how to get there. As is custom in Minecraft, the dimension is accessed through a portal. The portal's frame is made of snow blocks. To light the portal you need a special Twilight Clock, an item crafted by filling the entire 3×3 grid with regular clocks. Just hop in and you're ready to go!

Frost Archers are fairly weak hostile mobs that spawn in Iceika. They don't do a lot of damage, but their strength lies in their attack speed - they shoot tons of arrows very quickly, causing dangerous knockback.

The Glacide is a very fast hostile mob that spawns in Iceika. It attacks at melee range, making its speed redundant if you use a ranged weapon.

The Alicanto is an extremely fast flying Iceika mob. It can be very dangerous, so watch the skies and make sure it doesn't ambush you.

A Hastreus is a hostile Iceika mob.  While it isn't fast or strong, it can be dangerous due to the effects it inflicts upon the player - a slowdown effect and a vision disturbance. Thought alone they don't pose much of a threat they can be dangerous when grouped with other hostile mobs.

Fractites are hostile mobs that spawn in Iceika. It attacks at a range, shooting explosive fireballs quickly. Be careful, the fireballs do a lot of damage.

The Rollum is a fairly creepy looking hostile mob that spanws in Iceika. It attacks at melee range and deals significant damage. It is moderately strong, but it can knock you back a fair amount with its melee attack.

The Workshop Tinkerer spawns alongside the Merchant. It is an NPC trader that specializes in trading weapons. Iceika weapons are fairly powerful, making the Tinkerer a trader you'll want to see a lot. The currency for NPC traders in Iceika are snowflakes that can be obtained from chests in underground Iceika dungeons.

The Workshop Merchant spawns alongside the Tinkerer. It is an NPC trader that specializes in trading all kinds of items like food and decorative items, but no weapons. The currency for NPC traders in Iceika are snowflakes that can be obtained from chests in underground Iceika dungeons.

That's it for today but we've got more coming your way soon! Stay tuned for Vethea…
